About the Role
The core purpose of this role is to assist with the accounting and administration functions of the Club, critical to overall financial control and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Completion of end to end processing and monthly reporting for the Club’s Customer Business units, including but not limited to Merchandise, Membership & Ticketing and Match Days
- Completion of month end and year end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, compliance and reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and profit forecasting completion for a variety of Club departments
- Assisting in preparation and development of the weekly KPI dashboard reporting across the Club
- Supporting role in year-end procedures, including liaison with external auditors
- Assisting with the ongoing compliance of the Club’s internal control environment, including seeking continuous improvement of internal controls, policies, processes and procedures
- Ad hoc projects and analysis to support the Finance Manager
- Finance assistance at major Club events
- At all times adhere to Club guiding principles and Club policies

- Extensive use of Microsoft Office and hold intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- General knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Corporations Act rules and regulations
Qualifications
- Undergraduate commerce/business/accounting university degree
- 2-5 Years accounting experience
- Recently qualified or committed to obtaining a CA/CPA Qualification
