About The Opportunity

As an Accountant, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Partner in various accounting tasks
• Compiling and reviewing Tax Returns for all entities
• Reviewing client accounting records and documentation
• Preparing annual and periodic Financial Accounts and Reports
• Supporting clients in record-keeping and compliance obligations
• Analysing and proposing business enhancement strategies for clients
• Aiding in the preparation of BAS/FBT and other compliance requirements
  

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree qualified in Accounting
• Strong knowledge of State and Federal Tax Legislation
• Proficiency in various accounting software and computer literacy
• 10 years of recent practical experience in a public practice environment

You will also have:

• Effective time-management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability in staff and client work review techniques
