The Role
Your role as the Accountant will offer appealing breadth. As you master tasks, there will continuously be opportunities to take on additional challenges ensuring your skillset is always evolving. Initial tasks will include (but not limited to):
- Month-end preparation (including journal posting and reporting)
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Supporting Payroll
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with board reporting
Your Background
To be considered for this Accountant role you will meet the majority of the following criteria:
- Degree qualified and studying towards CA/CPA
- At least 3 years’ experience in commercial accounting (AP, AR + month-end assistance as a minimum)
- Full Australian working rights (Citizen or PR)
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis
