SalaryWe are a fast growing firm of Public Accountants operating in the South Western suburbs of Brisbane.
Due to continued growth, we have a position available for an Intermediate Accountant on a Full Time or Part Time basis. We are also open to discussing some Work From Home possibilities either now or in the future.
The Practice currently has 2 Partners, an SMSF Accountant, a Senior Accountant and 4 Bookkeepers. As a Intermediate Accountant, you will have an important role to fill in our Practice, bridging the gap between our Bookkeepers and our Senior Accountants.
Your role will involve preparing Financial Reports and Tax Returns for a variety of business clients operating as different types of entities. You will report directly to the Partners and opportunities for further advancement are good.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have had at least 4 years' experience as an Accountant in a Public Practice.
We operate in a Xero environment so full familiarity with Xero, especially Xero Workpapers is essential. Knowledge of FYI Docs is helpful but not essential.
It is also essential that you have excellent communication and language skills as written and verbal contact with clients is expected.
