Accountant

About the opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a reputable organisation as an Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager – ANZ, you will have a background in financial reporting with a focus on providing high-quality and accurate information to stakeholders. In addition, you will be:

• Preparation of monthly management reports, reconciliations and variance analysis;
• Maintaining fixed asset and depreciation schedules;
• Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations;
• Assisting with tax and statutory obligations including preparation of statutory financial statements;
• Assisting in external and internal audit work, maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes;
• Assisting with forecasting, budgeting and cash-flow management process; and
• Assisting in the development & improvement of system processes with aim to improve both operational effectiveness & efficiency.

What you bring:

• CPA/CA qualification 
• Experience working in a multi-site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations 
• A positive, calm energy with proven ability to work both autonomously 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP and strong skills in excel would be highly regarded.
• Ability to work in changing environments with demonstrated resilience.
