School hours job for an organised Accounts / Admin Assistant in growing Illawarra accounting firm.
20 hours a week, 10am-2pm Mon-Fri (negotiable). Working from home during school holidays welcomed when able to work autonomously.
In a small accounting firm in Helensburgh, successful candidate would be assisting various staff with;
- Aspects of auditing, BAS and tax returns
- Mid level administration support
- Electronic client database and document management
- Document retrieval by client remote login
- ad hoc duties
Preferred skills
- Attention to detail
- Moderate Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting
- Adobe
- Must be good with computers.
Very specialised industry, so training will be provided even with an experienced candidate. Not expected to conduct whole processes, only assisting with them. Its a newly created position due to rapid growth in the past 18 months. Successful applicant would be sixth person in our office team. $30-$40 per hour with view to permanancy.
Expected start 1/8/2024.
