About the Role:
As an Accounting Administrator at Triathlon battery solutions, you play a vital role in supporting the Head of Finance. Your responsibilities include daily operational duties, preparation of monthly business activity statements and financial statements
This role offers flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle at the Eastern Creek office with an opportunity to work for from home 1-2 days per week. You will be involved with supporting various parts of the business and will provide a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Financial data entry: Accurately record financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and receipts, into the accounting system.
- Assist in the processing of accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and preparing payments.
- Assist with accounts receivable by monitoring customer payments, sending statements, and reconciling customer accounts.
- Assist with preparation of month-end financial statements and reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly business activity statements for AU and NZ businesses.
- Managing office supplies, equipment, and general administrative tasks including ad hoc tasks as directed.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Finance Manager.
Required Skills, Experience & Competencies:
- Previous Accounting experience is preferred.
- Intermediate skills in Excel and other financial platforms.
- Professionally presented and punctual.
- Strong work ethic with a friendly, positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to learn new skills and work in a small customer focused team.
