The Role
Pearce IP has a part-time role for a capable Accounts Administrator to join our CEO’s office. Working two days per week (or equivalent spread over multiple days) from our Burradoo office, the successful candidate will:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including the allocation of payments;
- Process approved invoices for payment;
- Work with our external partners to prepare end of month accounts;
- Liaise with our external partners regarding annual accounts, budgets and tax queries;
- Reconcile Australian and New Zealand bank accounts;
- Manage credit card applications on behalf of the business and coordinate the monthly credit card reconciliation process;
- Credit control of overdue payments including liaising with responsible lawyers; and
- General administrative work as and when required.
About you
Candidates will be experienced in accounts administration and motivated to support not only our internal team, but our external service providers. You will bring to the role:
- Sound experience in accounts administration including reconciliations and credit control management;
- Experience working with third party providers;
- The ability to act with confidence in a fast paced, professional law firm;
- Well developed analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and resilience;
- Confidence in liaising with third party providers and peer-to-peer interactions;
- Timeliness and the ability to meet strict deadlines;
- Proficiency in office 365 and Xero; and
- A structured way of working with a strong work ethic and exceptional initiative.
