Role

Due to rapid growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Accounts & Administration Assistant to support the Finance function in undertaking day-to-day accountants function and to support the organisation with administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Processing of invoices and purchase orders. 
  • Preparing invoices for payment and obtaining payment authorization.
  • Reconciling of invoices with statements.
  • Credit Card reconciliation.
  • Making necessary external contacts to collects funds.
  • Entering approved invoices and expense claims.
  • Petty cash reconciliation.
  • Assisting with month end processes and reporting.
  • Assist with cash flow and monitoring to budget
  • Customer and supplier query resolutions.
  • Accurate data entry.
  • Filing and other general administrative support as required.
  • Process improvement.
  • Understand payroll, awards and conditions.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

About you

  • Degree or tertiary qualification in relevant field
  • Experience performing accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Experience in broad range of administrative functions and technology.
  • Knowledge of accounting.
  • Knowledge / Payroll experience can be an added bonus. 
  • High level of attention to detail and be able to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and a degree of discretion.
  • Reliable, punctual and a team player.

The appointment will be subject to below clearances:

  • COVID vaccination (x 3 shots)
  • National Police Check / NDIS Workers Check
