What you'll do:As an
Accounts and Administration Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include accurately inputting data into MYOB for invoices, reconciliations, and accounts for both creditors and debtors. You will also be responsible for processing credit applications, handling vendor and supplier account requirements, preparing finance documentation, performing bank reconciliations, chasing overdue accounts, managing inventory control and conversions, conducting stock takes, and providing administrative support for the team.
- Accurately input data into MYOB for invoices, reconciliations, and accounts for both creditors and debtors
- Process credit applications and check trade references
- Handle vendor and supplier account requirements
- Prepare and process creditor payments
- Prepare finance documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Chase overdue accounts
- Manage inventory control and conversions
- Conduct stock take
- Provide administrative support for the team
What you bring:The ideal
Accounts and Administration Officer will bring a wealth of experience in similar roles. They will have strong numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail. Experience using MYOB is highly preferred. A certificate in accounting or finance would be advantageous but not essential. They will be proactive with a bias towards action, able to adapt quickly to changing workloads.
