We are currently seeking applications for the position of Accounts Assistant/Administration. We are looking for someone who pays meticulous attention to detail, possesses a genuine passion for numbers, and thrives in a dynamic work environment.
This is a permanent part-time role of 20-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (school hours) with the potential of the role growing into a full-time position in the future.
Remuneration commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Review daily sales data imported into MYOB.
- Cash & EFTPOS Reconciliation for daily hotel trading
- Attend to daily communications and address inquiries promptly.
- Approve bank transactions.
- Assist in monthly beverage stocktake.
- Assist bottleshop manager with data entry for scheduled promotions
- Issue invoices and monthly account statements.
- Manage both digital and physical financial records
- Ensure the accuracy of records.
- Compile routine reports and summaries.
- Utilise spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals effectively.
- Ordering of hotel stationary and other ad hoc administration tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data at all times.
- Update and maintain procedural documentation.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with MYOB or equivalent accounting software.
- Strong collaborative skills, with a proven ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in multitasking and time management.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially in data entry.
- Commitment to delivering high-level customer service to all stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
