Accounts Assistant / Snr Accounts Officer

About the Company:My client, a large construction subcontractor who work across Melbourne for many years. They have been supplying quality services and products across the construction sector. They offer a collaborative environment promoting a positive culture. They are looking for Accounts Assistant or Snr Accounts Officer to join their busy office's.About the position:Reporting into the CFO, you will be an integral part of the team. Being responsible for all bookkeeping, payroll and accountant requirements including;

• end to end payroll, superannuation & payroll tax
• Reconciliations
• BAS Payments
• General admin duties
• AR & AP
• Preparing invoices
• General ledger reconciliation

Previous experience:

• Have a good understanding & experience in the above duties
• Min of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• High attention to detail and exceptional time management is a must!
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with a close-knit team
