About the role

Due to a promotion within our Finance team, we are looking to recruit a full time permanent Accounts Clerk who will focus primarily on providing financial and administrative support to the finance team. 

Reporting into the Senior Accountant, this role will be based in our new offices in Frenchs Forest with an option to work from home 1 day per week when training completed. 

Experience in a similar role is preferred and comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

Trade Creditors

• Enter Supplier invoices.
• Ensure the correct use of Cost Centres.
• Prepare weekly and ad-hoc payment runs.
• Reconcile Supplier accounts to statements.

Trade Debtors

• Apply customer payments to accounts.
• Maintain a tidy debtors’ ledger, by applying payments and credits to correct invoices, and working with customers to reconcile their accounts.
• Manage outstanding debt for all debtors across all business entities.
• Report Overdues to Senior Accountant.
• Ensure receipt of payment and follow up on any issues.

Debit Cards

• Manage all company debit card reconciliations and processing.
• Assist staff with Expense Manager processing and cost centre queries

Skills, experience and requirements include:

• Financial experience in a similar role
• Friendly and professional manner
• Well-developed customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Quick learner and the protentional to grow with the role
• Experience within pharmaceutical industry an advantage
• Experience in Accounting software, Quickbooks preferable
