The Role
We currently have a full-time role available for an Accounts Clerk in our Finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller. The role will be based at our Head Office, located in Nundah.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Full function accounts receivable activities:
- including answering phone and email queries,
- communication with customers regarding invoice payments
- liaising with other departments to resolve invoicing issues.
- daily processing of bankings
- Reconciliations and processing of customer credit card receipts and applying payment to invoices.
- Ad hoc financial tasks as required.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of experience in the above tasks, even if it’s just a year or so.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Accounts experience essential
- Intermediate Excel and Word skills
- Experience with accounting software, MYOB preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, along with attention to detail and taking pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a productive finance team
