Accounts Officer

VT Freight Express is a privately owned company that specialises in the distribution of carton, skid, and pallet freight throughout Australia. The ideal candidate will have a professional friendly approach and be able to multi task. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Accounts Receivable - Invoicing and Debt Collection
• Accounts Payable - supplier payments and RCTI management
• Reconciliations
• Assisting with Month-End
• Customer file maintenance and quotations
• Learning a new transport management system - management of customer/driver requirements
• Ad-hoc projects and business analysis

Skills and Knowledge preferred: 

• Accounting Degree. 
• Knowledge of MS Office including Outlook and Excel
• Knowledge of Xero
• Proven knowledge and experience working across different areas of accounts
• Ability to prioritise your tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
