Accounts Officer

Our focus is on working in partnership with community and industry to protect and promote Indigenous culture, facilitate industry engagement, build organisational capacity, support thriving enterprises and sustainably manage land.

Our business is rapidly growing, and we are currently seeking a highly organised and self-motivated Accounts Officer / bookkeeper for cover during maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, effectively problem solve and have good time management.

Roles and Responsibilities will involve:

• Quote & estimate creation 
• Statement reconciliation
• Management of electronic records and databases
• Assist CFO and Management Accountants with tax and financial matters
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Financial data entry 
• Banking

• Proficiency in Xero
• A Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/accounting or higher
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work flexibly and under pressure

• High proficiency in Microsoft 365, ideally with an understanding of SharePoint
• BAS preparation
