The Role:
An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable person for approximately 20 hours per week to join our dedicated and friendly team.
This is a maternity leave cover position as a Casual for a period of up to 12 months approximately with the potential offer of extension/permanent part time.
The Company:
We are a Design, Construct and Leasing Company located in Stirling, close to the freeway, public transport and parking.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the Accounts inbox
- Processing supplier invoices and payments via EFT’s and cheques
- Respond to queries via email and phone
- Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable enquiries & issues
- Other ad hoc accounts duties from time to time
Skills and experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Demonstrated ability to pick up new tasks quickly and accurately
- Well organised and efficient with acute attention to detail
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to work independently but also part of a team
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise
- “CAN DO” attitude
Desired Experience (but not essential):
- Accounts payable experience
- Databuild Software (Highly regarded but not essential)
- Previous exposure to Residential Building Company
- 5+ years in a similar role
