Accounts Payable

The Role:

An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable person for approximately 20 hours per week to join our dedicated and friendly team. 

This is a maternity leave cover position as a Casual for a period of  up to 12 months approximately with the potential offer of extension/permanent part time.

The Company:

We are a Design, Construct and Leasing Company located in Stirling, close to the freeway, public transport and parking. 

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the Accounts inbox
• Processing supplier invoices and payments via EFT’s and cheques
• Respond to queries via email and phone
• Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable enquiries & issues
• Other ad hoc accounts duties from time to time

Skills and experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Demonstrated ability to pick up new tasks quickly and accurately
• Well organised and efficient with acute attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to work independently but also part of a team
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise
• “CAN DO” attitude 

Desired Experience (but not essential):

• Accounts payable experience 
• Databuild Software (Highly regarded but not essential)
• Previous exposure to Residential Building Company
• 5+ years in a similar role
