GenusPlus Group (ASX:GNP) is an end-to-end service provider for essential power and telecommunications infrastructure. We provide an integrated service delivered through four key complementary businesses to our clients in the resources, power, utilities, and telecommunications sectors across Australia.
We are seeking to recruit a team player to join the team at our head office in Belmont, WA for a full-time position.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable and Purchasing Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer responsibilities will include:
- Timely processing large volume supplier invoices, expense claim reimbursements for multiple entities.
- Managing all functions of Accounts Payable including the preparation of bimonthly, monthly payment runs and ad hoc payments.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, internal stakeholders to resolve any queries.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Any other administrative duties as required from time to time.
You must be highly organised with managing an end-to-end Accounts Payable process for multiple entities. You are attentive to detail and have a flexible outlook to be agile in the workplace. You will cope well in a fast-paced environment. You have excellent communication skills with a variety of stakeholders, experience using an ERP system advantageous along with basic Excel skills.
Skills / Qualifications & Experience
- High volume of end-to-end Accounts Payable processing experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Cert III in Accounts Administration (preferred not essential).
- Track record of successful delivery of timely and accurate Accounts Payable services.
- Good understanding of financial requirements and legislation as they relate to Accounts Payable processing activities.
- Problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and a strong team contributor.
- Strong analytical skills and intermediate Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively exercise initiative and discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
