Our client is a reputable Commercial Building Company known for their excellence in work and repeat clientele. This role is a diverse and busy Accounts Payable role, reporting directly into the Accounts Manager.

Responsibilities
- Provide administration support to the accounts manager and finance team
- Entering invoices using reckon accounting software
- Answering incoming calls and filtering requests
- Strong confidentiality when assisting management with sensitive documents
- Maintaining up to date customer account information
- Preparing and submitting credit applications
- Organising meetings for accounts manager and answering accounts related queries if possible.
- Creating Weekly Cost Reports on all current jobs in construction
- Credit Card Reconciliation and entry into reckon accounts
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Experience in Accounts Payable or bookkeeping
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Reliable and Punctual.
- Proficient in Reckon or Quickbox
- Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Suites - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be a team player with a positive vibe.
- Strong work ethic and organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Formal accounting or finance qualification - highly desirable
- Construction industry knowledge - desirable
