Form of work About the Company:We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Payable/Revenue Officer Specialist to join a State Government utilities organisation. This company, based in Tatura, is committed to delivering customer-focused service and maintaining a sustainable business model. This is a hybrid initial 3-6 month contract. About the Role:As an AP/RO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all Accounts Payable outcomes as well as supporting the wider Revenue Team. Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing supplier and contractor payments within payment terms, adhering to all internal policies. Additionally, you will support the Revenue Team in delivering customer accounts, providing assistance in system reconciliation and debt management functions.Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely payment of supplier and contractor invoices. Compliance with GST obligations related to Accounts Payable. Contribute to integrating Accounts Payable functions of various projects. Support the refinement of the Accounts Payable system. Assist the Revenue Team in year-end procedures and reconciliations. Administer billing software and resolve software issues. Assist in period-end processing and reconciliations for Accounts Payable. Provide Creditor Reports and month-end reporting for trade creditors and accruals. About You:We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills: Experience in a large volume Accounts Payable team and in an analyst role with prior revenue assurance experience. Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Experience dealing with internal and external customers, delivering excellent customer service. Ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively.
