We are a retail group undergoing rapid expansion. Our Head Office is based on the Gold Coast with business units across the East Coast of Australia.
We are seeking a self-motivated, aspiring accounts professional to join a small but growing team, driving excellence in accounts and process management. We are offering a part time role with ample opportunity for growth, working within a supportive, family orientated environment.
Tasks & responsibilities include:
- Assistance with the account functions across multiple business units
- Liaise with operational staff across business units
- Respond to accounts related queries
- Identify and assist with process and service improvement
- Assist with invoice entry, accounts reconciliations, banking transactions and credit control
- Work closely with the AP Officer and AR Manager
Qualifications & experience:
- 2 years of related experience and/ or training certificate from college or technical school
- Ability to read and interpret finance documents such as receipts, tax invoices and process manuals
- Strong problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems ideal but not essential
- Experience with a multi-site retail environment ideal but not essential
