Your new company
I am looking for an experienced Accounts officer to join a local NFP organisation on a temporary basis.
Your new role
In this role you will be an ‘all-rounder’ providing outstanding finance support. This position provides administrative support primarily to the Finance department to ensure the smooth running of the internal operations of the team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Process incoming invoices against purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Oversee payment runs and ensure timely vendor payments.
Serving as the main supplier contact, processing new credit applications, organising supplier documentation and handling bank detail changes.
Monitor and manage a finance mailbox.
Reconciliations for bank account and credit/debit cards
Maintaining accurate record keeping.
Assist with additional ad-hoc financial service tasks as required.
Provide high-level administrative services for the finance team.
Other duties as required from time to time consistent with the level of the position as directed by your Line Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in an End-to-End Accounts Payable role.
Experience in working with MYOB.
Experience with managing purchase orders.
High level of proficiency and expertise utilising Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant programs
Experience with
Strong computer literacy and knowledge of systems
Valued team player with the ability to work autonomously.
The ability to use your own initiative.
