Our client is one of Australia's leading retailers in the fuel/energy industry. looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
About the Role:
- Reviewing, processing and verifying invoices and payment requests
- Preparing EFT payment runs
- Verify and process expense claims
- Raising cheques and preparing documentation for approval
- Filling out deposits slips and maintaining the cheque register
- Delivery of exceptional customer service
- Following up on supplier queries and issues
- Reconciling major suppliers
- Issuing credits
- General ledger data entry
- Preparing and scanning all supporting documentation
About You:
- Proven experience with Accounts Payable software, ideally Dynamics 365
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Proven experience with Accounts Payable or General Accounting
- A high attention to detail
- Adapt and respond to the changing work environment
- Strong work ethics
- Teamwork; contributes to productive working relationships and outcomes
- Ability to work under pressure, working to tight deadlines
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred
