Accounts Payable Officer

EMJC Earthmoving & Plant Hire has been operating since 2008, providing plant hire, heavy haulage and maintenance solutions for the mining, civil and construction industry.

With branches located in Perth, Newman and an onsite team in Collie, an opportunity has arisen for a full-time Accounts Payable Officer to join our Perth team based in Hazelmere. 

The role:

• Match supplier invoices with purchase orders to ensure compliance.
• Process approved creditor invoices.
• Manage AP telephone queries.
• Resolve account discrepancies.
• Reconcile creditor statements.
• Process journals and open reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Prepare payment runs.
• Payroll processing
• Occasional AR coverage
• Ad-hoc duties required by the Management Accountant

You must have:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
• Intermediate MYOB and Excel skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with high volumes.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
