Job Description:
This role is responsible for all things Accounts Payable related including the processing of vendor invoices (via Esker), expense claims for our contractors or corporate staff and credit card expenditure.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for:
• Ensuring that all vendor invoices and employee expenses are approved in line with the company’s purchasing policy and the company Authorisation Matrix
• Raising payment requests via electronic funds transfer in compliance with financial policies and procedures and sending remittance advice to vendors for all payments made
• Undertaking bank reconciliations ensuring all payments are correctly reflected in the bank ledger.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Understanding of the requirements for an operation such as Brunel
• A good understanding of best practices in Accounts Receivable policies and procedures
• Proven track record of time management and attention to detail
• A broad understanding of the recruitment industry, our verticals, our specialisations, and our capabilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong customer service and work ethic
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction and supervision, with a proven ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in an effective and efficient manner.
• Outstanding integrity, solid moral judgment, and the ability to make important decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision is desirable.
