We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join us in our Subiaco Head Office.
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you would be working with our Accounts Team, reporting to our Accounts Payable Manager. You will have experience in processing invoices, ensuring timely payments are made, maintaining relationships, reconciling expenses, assisting in month-end closing, ensuring compliance, and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily processing of invoices
- Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain and update records
- Reconciliations of supplier statements to invoices
- Receive incoming invoices, match up with purchase orders, code and process into accounts system
- Monitor Accounts Payable payments
- Assist EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payments
- Process staff expense reimbursements
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in the construction or Mining Industry
- Experience with Jobpac and Pronto (Advantageous but not essential)
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team work
- Excellent computer and accounting software skills
