About the role
Viterra is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Transactional Services Manager, the primary responsibility of the role is to ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of supplier invoices. We want to hear from you if you have excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Ensure all month end requirements and reports are completed within finance timelines.
- Ensure supplier payments are made as per terms.
- Data-entry and weekly payment runs for suppliers.
- Resolve processing issues/queries.
- Reconcile statements and ensuring outstanding items are actioned.
- Create new/change Business Partners (vendors/customers as required) requests in SAP.
About you
- Qualifications in Accounting / Finance and/or demonstrated skills and experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Experience with-data entry and Microsoft Office suite (proficient in Excel).
- Previous experience with SAP preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Contribute to a team environment through developing positive working relationships.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, use knowledge and initiative to problem solve promptly.
