About The Opportunity
As an Accounts Payable Officer based in the office, you will have the opportunity to take full ownership of the Accounts Payable function, handling a high volume of transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices and member expenses with meticulous attention to detail
• Driving process improvement initiatives and supporting automation projects for invoice processing
• Supporting the Finance Manager with month-end closure and external audit queries
• Maintaining expense tracking and assisting with grants paid reconciliations
• Ensuring accurate and timely payment of supplier invoices
• Conducting supplier statement reconciliations

About You
The successful candidate will have:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment
• Working knowledge of GST, tax invoice requirements, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and consistency
• The ability to problem-solve, take initiative, and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and articulate style
