There is currently an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the SVHA team.
The SVHA Shared Services division provides Accounts Payable, Financial Accounting and Payroll support to all of the SVHA divisions across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager the ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience operating in a high transactional, fast paced and complex environment
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Willingness to explore and develop new process ideas and see them through to completion
- Strong attention to detail and lateral thinking skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly. Microsoft D365 highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with suppliers and facility based staff.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and respond to high volume email enquiries
- Processing of high volume invoices through OCR and finance system for approval.
- Review and assess payment documents for validity of transactions
- Work with stakeholders to review and correct complex three way matching errors
- Carry out reconciliations of supplier statement to creditor ledger
- Set up and complete weekly payment runs including payment to overseas entities.
