Accounts Payable Officer for a 3' month contract in Sydney's North Shore

Established Australian company operating in the construction industry, and offering a range of services. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team for a three’ month period, located on Sydney’s North Shore.
Your new role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for:
- Processing of invoices, credit notes and other transactions including credit card entries
- Resolving Accounts Payable queries with external suppliers
- Coordinating the resolution of aged purchase orders, on hold and unpaid invoices
- Providing analysis and information on Accounts Payable related issues
- Supporting employees on issues relating to expenses and reporting on these
- Managing issues relating to credit cards including card cancellation and bank follow up
- Supporting the manager with Accounts Payable process improvement projects
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in high volume Accounts Payable
- Expertise in SAP Concur Expenses
- Strong systems skills using an ERP system such as Oracle
- Skilled in MS Office Suite including Excel
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to building and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Understanding of accounting concepts and entries
