Accounts Payable Officer

Accounts Payable Officer for a 3' month contract in Sydney's North Shore

Your new company 

Established Australian company operating in the construction industry, and offering a range of services. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team for a three’ month period, located on Sydney’s North Shore.

Your new role 

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for:

• Processing of invoices, credit notes and other transactions including credit card entries 
• Resolving Accounts Payable queries with external suppliers
• Coordinating the resolution of aged purchase orders, on hold and unpaid invoices
• Providing analysis and information on Accounts Payable related issues
• Supporting employees on issues relating to expenses and reporting on these
• Managing issues relating to credit cards including card cancellation and bank follow up
• Supporting the manager with Accounts Payable process improvement projects

What you'll need to succeed 

• Demonstrated experience in high volume Accounts Payable 
• Expertise in SAP Concur Expenses
• Strong systems skills using an ERP system such as Oracle
• Skilled in MS Office Suite including Excel
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to building and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Understanding of accounting concepts and entries
