A well-known healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. Situated in the inner suburbs with a reputable name, this organisation is going through exciting change and needs an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to assist with this growth. Operating within a high performing industry, the business is very much active and fast paced, therefore creating the need for someone who can add value to the team and business. This role is an initial casual role with a view to be transitioned to a 6-12 month contract.

About the Role
Operating within a team environment and reporting into a highly supportive Accounts Payable Manager, this AP Officer position will see you performing numerous AP responsibilities where you will exercise your full function AP knowledge and offer you the opportunity to take further steps in your career.
Duties:

• Maintaining the end to end Accounts Payable ledger
• Verifying high volume of invoices on a daily basis using Filewise
• Generate/send remittances.
• Liaising with external stakeholders to resolve issues through phone calls & email
• Assist with patient refund processes
• Payment of supplier accounts
• Support the wider finance team, and undertake general ad hoc duties as required

Skills and Experience

• Experience working in a high volume end to end AP Officer role
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Experience using Kofax or Tech One desirable
