Great opportunity for a skilled AP Officer to join a largeorganisation in North Sydney - 3 months initially & likely to extend, mostly office based
Position DescriptionThis position is working within a supportive team and reporting in to the Accounts Payable Manager. My client is a highly reputable business right next to the train station in North Sydney and they are looking for someone with solid Accounts Payable knowledge to join to at least a 3 month period, but very likely to extend or become permanent. This role is mostly office based and my client would be open to applicants on Working Holiday Visa's.
The key responsibilities and tasks will include but not be limited to:
- High volume processing of invoices daily
- Reconciliations of supplier accounts
- Handle queries with both internal and external stakeholders
- Setting up new vendors and suppliers
- General ad hoc duties as required
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, as well as the following attributes:
- At least 2 years prior AP experience
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to multi task with excellent time management and organisation skills
- A positive up beat nature and excellent time management skills
