A permanent Full-time opportunity with immediate start has become available for a Patient Billing /Accounts Receivable at Queensland Fertility Group located in Brisbane.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

• Ensure policies and procedures are complied with to ensure a high level of integrity
• Processing patient invoices and generating statements as required
• Experience in Bulk Bill Medicare and private patient billing
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by contacting patients via phone and email
• Investigate and resolve payment and discrepancy issues
• Patient account queries & resolution in a timely manner
• Day-to-day processing of payments and deposits via Westpac Credit Card Portal & NAB Connect direct credit facility
• Processing & reconciling payments via direct debit, BPAY and credit card
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Assist in projects as required by the Accounts Manager

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Previous experience within a Finance/Accounts Receivable role would be advantageous 
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Understanding of health industry and compliance with privacy and confidentiality of information
• High level of customer service skills
• Ability to communicate information clearly and accurately, both written and verbal
• A confident phone manner 
• Be proactive in problem solving regarding system and processes
• Superior time management and organisation skills
• Proficient in Excel
