Client Details
We are seeking candidates for the a full-time Accounts Receivable/Credit Control on behalf of our client, a global Japanese company located in Yeppoon.
You will play a pivotal role in the financial operations across departments within the company, and be responsible for AP/AR functions to ensure seamless management of incoming and outgoing finances.
Description
The key responsibilities and duties of the role:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Check invoices against orders and stock.
- Process supplier invoices and ensure they're authorised for payment.
- Reconcile supplier statements and accounts, Cash Sales with journals and actual inventory with records.
- Record Department Cash Sales payments.
- Monitor Debtors' balances.
- Prepare Daily Management Report.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyse and report monthly expenses compared to the previous year.
- Other ad-hock duties if required.
Profile
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
- Previous experience in Accounting and/or degrees or certificate in Accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software, especially XERO.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in managing financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organised and prioritise tasks.
- Professional business acumen and commercial awareness
- Full work rights in Australia and able to work full-time
