About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Receivable/ Admin Assistant self-starter to join our friendly Admin team. The successful applicant will be a team player, who is customer service focused and will fit in with our core values of integrity, respect, accountability, and professional behaviour.
This full-time position provides Data Entry (Accounts Receivable) and general Admin Support to the Management Team. The duties include, however are not limited to:
- Data entry of daily bank and cash/ EFTPOS transactions,
- Bank Reconciliations,
- Responding to Customer requests including general account enquiries and providing copies of invoices, EOM statements, and proof of delivery supports.
- Processing account applications and requests for trade references,
- Assisting the Office Manager with Debt Recovery, and the
- Provision of receptionist and data entry support to other business units during peak times.
Core skills and experience:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable data entry, or similar, position. (+2yrs preferable)
- Proven ability using advanced accounting/ ERP software, e.g., MYOB, SAP or similar.
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry.
- Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office suite.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a strong work ethic and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve enquiries in a timely manner, while maintaining a customer service focus.
- Proven ability to work individually or as a member of a team.
- Willingness to learn and be flexible to changing business needs.
