Overview

Primary Purpose of the Position

In this role you will be given the opportunity to join a friendly family business who have offices in three different locations in NSW: Kempsey, Coffs Harbour and Taree. All accounts are processed at the Kempsey Office.
You will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable function of the business, be open to training, have great attention to detail and be able to pick up and retain information effectively. Must have clear spoken and written communication and sound knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivables and have some sort of certificate in accounting.
Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• All things Accounts Receivable
• Adding payments to system
• Chasing customers for payments
• Monthly statements
• Bank reconciliation
• Answering customer enquiries
• Updating the accounts system.

Selection Criteria

• Demonstrate skills & knowledge in Accounts Receivable processes.
• MS Outlook and MS Excel knowledge required.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Excellent attention to detail skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to assist with other duties if required.
• Most importantly enjoys working with a valued team.

Key Capabilities

• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and accounting software.
• Attention to detail, proven accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
• Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and strive towards process improvement.
• Hold some sort of certificate in accounting.
