Working as part of a professional finance team you will be an integral part of the team providing an essential accounts function to support dynamic business operations.
What you will do:
Your key deliverables in this role will include:
- Effective credit management including debt collection, credit applications, credit limits and dispute resolution
- Customer invoicing and statements
- Processing of credit requests
- Daily customer receipt allocation
- Preparation and distribution of weekly reports and ad-hoc reports
- Processing cash customer payments
- Maintaining current client insurance certificates
- Maintaining all Accounts Receivable
- Managing hire requests
- Handling internal and external queries
- Assisting Hire Operations as required.
- Identifying improvements within the accounts department
- Identifying and minimising risks for the company, maximising profit and sales and protecting the company’s interests.
- Understanding and implementing company policy and procedures
What you are and what you have:
- Be flexible with working hours to meet deadlines.
- A strong team commitment
- High level of administration and computer literacy
- High level experience in a dynamic Accounts Receivable function
- Strong Accounting Knowledge and aggressive debt collecting skill
- High attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- A good work ethic and high level of self-motivation
- The ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
- Prior experience in a similar role in equipment hire is an advantage
