An exciting opportunity for an experienced, Finance Assistant to join our Corporate Services team at Maroba. Maternity Leave 9 month Contract 24 hours with extra hours for leave relief when required.

Based in Waratah (Newcastle), accommodation choices range from independent living at our Maroba Terrace units through to full care (including dementia, Alzheimer’s and palliative care).

As a key member of our Business Services team in this role you work 24 hours per week with the capacity to increase in hours to cover leave at regular periods throughout the year. You will need to love people with a mind for organisation in the midst of an ever changing work environment.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Reception
- Accounts Payable - Manage the process to deliver the function in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable - Relief support, including monthly invoices, calculation & processing of estate payments.
- Other leave Relief
We are seeking applicants with:
- Qualifications and/or experience in Accountancy/Bookkeeping/ Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Experience in customer service, face to face, phone and email
- Ability to quickly build rapport
- Good Verbal and Written communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work well within a team environment with regular interruptions
