Malvern Private Hospital is a 34 bed Addiction and Recovery credentialed hospital, considered a leader in the abstinence-based model of care, utilising practices of the Inner Child Therapies and Minnesota Models of Care. We are situated in the leafy suburb of Malvern East, Victoria.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic team. You’ll be the glue that keeps our business running smoothly. Working with patients and Staff to ensure our high standards of care and support are upheld whilst most importantly providing a memorable client experience.

Position Summary
Malvern Private Hospital are looking for an individual with experience in Health Administration who can work collaboratively and become a reliable, engaged member of the administrative team The successful applicant must have a knowledge of CRM soft wear, reception management, File Management, and confidence with information technology programs. They will be able to show experience with exemplary skills in communication, efficiency, and interpersonal management. We also welcome new graduates, training will be provided on site for the successful applicant. This role will directly report to the Administration Supervisor and Hospital Director.
Experience and Qualification Required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed administrative, reception and telephone skills
- Excellent time management and work prioritisation skills.
- Effective computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and privacy legislation.
- Ability to work systematically ensuring a substantial level of accountability and responsibility.
- Efficient and accurate data entry and process management
- Capacity to understand and adhere to organisational policies and guidelines.
