About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the team at our Northam Office. If you've had experience in Administration or have knowledge of Manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you! This is a general administration position, ranging from reception / front desk duties to financial administration support and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Front desk operations including reception and switchboard;
- Answer general enquiries over the phone or direct to appropriate personnel;
- Coordinates and assist head office with marketing and advertising functions;
- Coordinate internal and external events and functions as directed by the Operations Coordinator.
- Ensure personnel time & costs are allocated to projects by filling out daily timesheets;
- Ordering office supplies, uniform and staff amenity orders;
- Attend office meetings to collect minutes and agendas;
- Ensure all health and safety procedures, and training records are current and updated;
- Other reasonable duties as directed. Undertake all other reasonable tasks and duties within your skill and ability, as directed.
- Ensure the recording of inventory and stock management is accurate including stocktakes as required.
- Support the General Manager with invoicing and general financial duties as required by the business
- Manage Accounts Receivable in regards to invoicing deliveries.
- Support Accounts Payable tasks such as invoicing and reconciling transactions to supplier statements.
Skills and Experience
- Willingness to undertake on-the-job training
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Excellent organisational skills, including priority setting and working to deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including a friendly and cheerful disposition.
- Strong attention to detail and a well organised approach
