Cairns Art Gallery is seeking an organised and dynamic individual to join our administration/operations team to provide essential support to the organisation.
This is a casual position with flexibility in hours available for the right candidate. 15.2 hours/week
Key Duties
- Maintaining an internal database and data entry
- Responding to emails and phone calls
- Answering queries by employees and clients.
- Preparing regular reports on retail income and memberships
- Maintaining individual, team and company calendars and scheduling appointments.
- Processing invoices and reimbursements
- Banking and reconciling petty cash
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems
- Assist in event bookings
- Assist in retail stocktakes.
- Managing office supplies stock and placing orders
- Assist in creating retail purchase orders
Skills and attributes
- Strong computer skills, including an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Honesty, integrity, punctuality and motivation.
- Attention to detail.
- Sound oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time and workload management skills
- cash handling and banking integrity
- Candidate must be an Australian Citizen
- Knowledge of Xero accounting system advantageous. Knowledge of Lightspeed retail POS system or similar advantageous
