JMG are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our Building Services Group in our Hobart office. About the role:
The role will see you providing administrative support to the Building Services Group on a fulltime basis. Working closely with the design team, your role will require a keen eye for precision in a fluid working environment.
You will assist our BSG team and the Group Administration Officer with the day-to-day administration responsibilities associated with the Maintenance Management area.
The role snapshot:
- Working with the Group Administration Officer to provide administrative support to the Building Services Group including day-to-day administration responsibilities associated with the Maintenance Management team.
- Raising of Maintenance Management purchase orders.
- Monitoring of the central Maintenance Management email inbox and actioning as required.
- Management of the JMG Maintenance Management Job System.
- Assist in the preparation of Building Act, and Condition and Compliance Reports.
- Preparation of Progress Payment Recommendations for Maintenance Contracts and follow-up of outstanding debtors.
- General typing and assistance in the preparation and ongoing development of written materials including correspondence, reports, specifications, and submissions.
- Maintenance of client spreadsheets and some client liaison where necessary.
- Provide cover for Group Administrator when on leave or as required.
- Provide ad-hoc office administrative support, including Reception backup, as required.
To be the successful candidate in this role you the ideal candidate will:
- Be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs with a focus on proficiency in Word – Intermediate level or be willing to undertake training to reach this level or Advanced.
- Previous experience working in a corporate office environment.
- Have strong attention to detail and enjoy the meticulous nature of the work.
- The ability to learn quickly and a desire to provide a high level of customer service, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work harmoniously with others.
The finer details:
- An attractive salary package in the range of $60,000-65,000 (plus super) dependent on level of experience.
