This is a full-time role based in our Launceston Head Office.
NJL has served the Tasmanian community for over 30 years and in the last decade expanded outside of Tasmanian shores, we deliver state and federal funded services across our national footprint, working to support predominantly our youth and people looking for work.
NJL is looking for someone interested in building a career and is passionate about the Community Services / Not for Profit Industry to join our existing Head Office Team of 12 in Launceston where our team fulfil all HR, IT and Accounts functions alongside locally based Director and COO.
General Duties:
- Under Direction you will provide administration support and assistance across all of Head Office functions.
- Undertake administrational duties including (but are not limited to) reception, minute writing and taking, preparing reports, spread sheets, and creating files.
- Act as a subject matter expert for record and document management in consultation with management.
- Be involved in supplier management for office compliance; fire equipment checks, electrical work, air-conditioning services, fleet servicing.
- Assist with general Car Fleet and Property maintenance and lease preparation under direction.
- Support with general office duties to order stationary, office supplies and rubbish collection.
About You:
- High level Computer Literacy across M365 applications.
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a range of staff, both verbally and electronically.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks in the required timeframes, accurately and with impeccable attention to detail.
