About the role 

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to support our Caleb Brett team in Queensland. A strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work autonomously is essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

  • General Front of House Reception Duties – liaising with clientele, in-coming calls, mail collection, sample receive and dispatch.
  • Report Writing / Data Entry.
  • Providing administrative support to the Management team and following their lead and instructions.
  • Coordination of travel, accommodation, and expenses.
  • Creation of Purchase Orders and Maintaining Stock Levels.  
  • Compiling sales data and completing monthly invoicing, ensuring KPI’s are met.
  • Exemplary time management and organizational skills including the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to changing requirements quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills with a high attention to detail in spelling and grammar.

Selection criteria

To be successful in this role the following competencies are essential:

  • A high level of technological aptitude and savviness.
  • Advanced MS Office Skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Good time management skills.
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven accuracy and speed.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
  • Confident Phone Mannerisms and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
  • Adaptability to learn new processes and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Sensitivity to deal with and maintain confidential information.
  • The candidate must be able to provide evidence of their right to work in Australia.
  • Be able to work in a team environment.
