Key duties:
- Processing all financial transactions following Nulsen’s accounting & trust procedures, Including:
- Financial processing of all incoming and outgoing transactions to the GL (AR, AP, invoicing) on a timely and accurate basis
- Maintaining Nulsen’s residents trust account system, Nulsen’s housekeeping imprest accounts and the residents pocket money imprest accounts
- Reconciliation and reimbursement of Promaster and Weel
- Resident’s pensions, mobility allowances and other personal transactions including medical, clothing, holiday expenditures and others.
- Raising accommodation fees for each resident for the month according to the billing schedule, process journals in Certinia and bank transfer on Commbiz.
- Issuing reports to clients and managers at the end of each month detailing expenditure and receipts for the month
- Seeking approval from public trustee and other parents for personal expenses.
- Ensure interest received on the trust bank accounts is credited to the service users on a prorate basis.
- Ensure Nulsen’s residents trust bank account is reconciled, and transactions recorded correctly for month end closure.
- Liaises with accommodation staff regarding issues associated with pensions, personal spending etc. Process recharge/ reimbursement as required.
- Provide effective and timely responses to incoming queries from families, guardians, public trustee, Centrelink, accommodation support team and other management.
- In charge of resident’s board, prepare monthly detailed reports, analysis data for management in accurate and timely manner.
You will need to have:
- Experience using Certinia is highly desirable but not required (training provided)
- Accounting degree / background is desirable.
- Strong / advanced excel skills.
- Australian citizenship or be a permanent resident of Australia
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Current Australian driver’s license
