The Position:
A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Administration Assistant to join the team at J.A. Carroll Solicitors in Kingaroy to be trained and grow into the role of Conveyancing Officer.
The position is one that offers an excellent career path within the legal industry through the development of conveyancing skills that are in very high industry demand.
The successful applicant will initially perform administration duties to support the Conveyancing Team while receiving training to become a fully competent Conveyancing Officer.

What The Duties Will Include:
Although not a comprehensive outline of the duties involved, the following outlines a brief overview of the duties of the role:
- Assist with Client phone, email and in-person enquiries
- Set appointments
- Maintain communication with Clients and provide progress reports on their matters
- Assist with timely and scheduled communications between key stakeholders including Banks, other Solicitors and Clients
- Assist Conveyancing Officers with various components of the process as competency allows
- Actively participate in an up to 2-year training program to become a competent and highly respected conveyancing professional
What You Will Require:

- Very sound computer and keyboard skills with the ability to quickly adapt to industry specific software packages

- An established commitment to supporting team objectives
Although not essential requirements, preference will be shown to applicants who may be also able to offer any of the following:
- Relevant certificates or tertiary qualifications
- Previous conveyancing or Legal Industry experience
- Justice of the Peace (JP) or Commissioner for Declarations (Cdec) qualifications
- A background in the Banking, Building or Real Estate Industries
- Experience with LEAP software
The Salary:
The salary will depend upon the level of relevant experience and qualifications of the successful applicant, with an above Award rate available for applicants with advanced skill levels.
