About the Role
Our Wollongong office is seeking an Administration Assistant to join our team. You will be part of an established support services locally in Wollongong, in addition to a greater network of support services across our 19 offices.
The role is part-time 20 – 30 hours per week Monday to Friday - for the right candidate hours may be negotiated.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of client deliverables including formatting and collation of correspondences, presentations and laboratory reports and accompanying documentation;
- With input from the laboratory manager, provide effective client communications including results dispatch, responding to issues and providing time frames for results;
- Validate Work Request and registering samples into internal Test Request portal;
- Typing, processing and dispatching invoices, with support from the national finance team;
- Assist the laboratory manager to uphold Quality Assurance to NATA standard ISO/IEC17025, by maintaining training records and laboratory testing information;
- Provide overflow reception and office administration duties;
- Willingness to learn other support tasks/duties to cover team members who may be sick or on leave.
About You
- High level of attention to detail and be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and MS Teams;
- Ability to work in a team environment, and work independently;
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to multi-task and possess a “can do” approach;
- Experience in formatting, reviewing, and editing of proposal/tender documents, technical reports and invoices;
- Developed knowledge of general office processes and systems;
- Experience in a similar role and preferably within the laboratory testing industry (desirable);
- Experience with procurement portals (desirable);
- Experience with contracts, safety (WHS) and QA documents (desirable).
