We are an established independent busy accounting practice. We have a large client base and provide professional services in taxation, Business advisory and Superannuation.
THE ROLE
We have a Reception / Administration assistant position available for 2 days per week, Thursday and Fridays 9am -5pm and to cover holiday and sick leave as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Provide proactive assistance to the accountants and team members.
- Maintaining client database.
- Liaise with the Australian Taxation office.
- Corporate secretarial work including ASIC Annual Statements and form preparation & lodgement for ASIC changes.
- Answer phones, redirect calls, Book appointments & Diary Management.
- Scanning & Filing
- General reception / administration
ABOUT YOU
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous administration / reception experience is a plus but not essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously
- Accounting software knowledge Myob (AE/AR), Xero, Cas360 &BGL360 (advantageous)
- Ability to work well in a team environment, motivated, mature with a proactive attitude.
