Administration AssistantPatient Safety and Improvement

The Role: 

Full time ongoing position in our Patient Safety & Improvement team. This position has been classified as HS1 as per Health & Allied Services Managers & Administrative workers EBA ($29.57 per hour).

The Administration Assistant will provide key administrative support to the Patient Safety & Improvement (PSI) Team at MBPH, and also secretariat services to some of the National Standards(Quality) Committees as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential: 

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in preparing meeting agenda preparation and minute taking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with a diverse range of people and groups with a personal approach which is positive, enthusiastic, friendly and helpful.
  • A high level of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), MS Teams and ability to adapt and use specialised IT systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, set schedules, set goals/objectives.
  • Flexibility to operate in an environment of change and continuous improvement.

Desirable:

  • Past experience in healthcare administration
