people2people are recruiting an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to work for a State Government Department. This is an initial 3 month assignment with potential for extension, offering an immediate start for the right candidate. Located in Ballarat, 3350. Shift and weekend work required - earliest shift is 6am and latest shift finishes at 11pm. Duties:
- Provide an initial point of contact for the Communications Centre by screening calls
- Answering routine inbound calls from customers and staff members
- Maintain special event information
- Obtain and collate appropriate information for specific managers’ reports or briefing notes
- General adhoc duties as required
About you:
- Significant experience in providing high level administrative support
- Experience in using Microsoft Office applications, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Previous experience in State Government is highly regarded but not essential
- A valid police check or ability to obtain a national police check
- Must be triple vaccinated or willing to get the 3rd vaccine.
